Mole fraction
There is no such word as 'MIROTIC'. So, what does that mean now? Just some made up word? Hahaha. WHO KNOWS. Lemme ask YunHo or JaeJoong.. Okay I am seriously dreaming awake.

*bet no one reads this anyway*

Life is still a bore as usual. I haven't been socializing that much now that it's exam week. I've been on nerd mode ever since Saturday morning and it feels awkward to feel that way even up to now. Well, there aren't any classes tomorrow so that means I have more time to study and sleep. I am supposed to be playing badminton tomorrow but.. I'm staying home to study. We got 4 subjects on Thursday and the subjects are kinda heavy. PEH and Filipino are easy to get through but about what Math and Bio? ESPECIALLY BIO. So much stuff to remember! Then there's Stat on Friday, as well as the Chem lab report. OKAAAY. I need to stay home tomorrow and stay focused. I know I am really grade conscious but I've been this way ever since preschool. My grade consciousness just had been intensified ever since I entered high school. Sheesh.

Now, a run down of the exams.

Physics - Okay, I guess. Way better than last quarter. I am around 95% sure that my answers in the problem solving part are correct. As for the multiply choice, blah. Used up my luck on that.

Socsci - As usual, what I study doesn't really come out. Some do come out, but not all. I'm expecting a minus 15 or more in the exam.

Chem - WOW OH WOW, Chemistry. I think I got more than 20 items correctly in the multiple choice but I just randomly chose my answer for those items that I had no idea about. As for the problem solving bit, I'm pretty sure about some of my answers but even if I have a wrong answer, I hope Ma'am GG gives points for at least trying to answer the problem. At least I'm not alone who feels this way. HAHAHA.

After the exams, I ate lunch with Che and Grace at the classroom then studied a bit for the Math exam on Thursday. Then, took a jeep to SM to meet my dad and went home. Watched some movie called Police Academy (which was really hilarious) with my dad on HBO then watched my Gossip Girl DVD. I'm still stuck at Episode 6 and I want to watch more but I feel lazy. Hahaha. I'll just resume watching after the exams.

Along with that, I plan to get a haircut since my hair's a mess and do some retail therapy. At least go window shopping.

I seriously need to get out more. I'm getting duller and duller with each passing day. *slumps*

----------

Woah. 12 days till the big ONE SIX. I just plan to spend my birthday with family and friends, and food of course. And if I receive birthday money from my dear aunties, maybe I'd get another pair of brightly colored pants (how about purple.. or green? haha), or maybe change my perfume. Definitely change my perfume. I want Lacoste Dream of Pink since it smells sooooo good. But if I don't have the cash for it, I might as well settle with Victoria's Secret. I plan to buy the small bottle only. Hahaha.

I'm not expecting a lot of birthday greetings on my birthday. I sometimes have this feeling of being neglected and all alone and isolated. Maybe it's because I don't really hang out with people that much anymore. I usually find myself sitting in one corner in deep thought, not interacting with people. Mainly I do that is because I don't really relate with the topic being talked about so I stay away so as not to embarrass myself and not to make myself look "trying hard".

And maybe another reason is that of age difference. I am one year older than my batchmates since I took the 7th grade back in Manila. It's either I am more mature than them, or maybe it's them who's more mature than me. Either way, it's the same. One is more mature than the other. I don't blame my batchmates at all. It's just an observation I made.

And I'm not expecting that I'd be dancing with a guy on my prom night except my assigned partners. Period.

I think my junior year's not gonna be as fun as they said it would be. But, you never know if I'm gonna be surprised or anything.

----------

I miss talking to Ate Danah, Bell, Hoiching and Zoe. Hope I get to talk to them again soon. :) I miss you guys so bad.

Sandwiches
Life's a bore, I know. Well, it is if there's exams. But I still manage to have a bit of fun.

Exam season this week and I'm expecting my eyebags to grow bigger and puffier. I think I heard somewhere that eyebags are caused by water retention due to stress but my dad told me it's cholesterol. According to my dear father, his classmate during high school who's now an eye doctor/cosmetologist (kinda like that) told him that eyebags are filled with CHOLESTEROL. I seriously have no idea who to believe now, but I'm more on the water retention bit. Anyway, back to exams.

Physics, Social Science and Chemistry on Tuesday.
Eid on Wednesday so no classes!
Biology, Filipino, PE&Health and Math on Thursday.
Statistics (GRARRRR), English and Computer Science (BURN) on Friday.

So uhm, I won't be blogging until Friday I guess.. Or I'll blog on Wednesday night since I'd be studying the whole day.

Wait, did I just say that I was gonna study?! O_O

I. Cannot. Believe. I. Said. That.

Anyway, all I did today was study and tutor some people online. I also studied yesterday and uhm, played badminton as well. But I managed to finish Physics, Chemistry and Socsci today. I plan to review on those three again tomorrow night then I'd work on Math, Statistics then Bio. I'll just use half of my luck on Comsci.

So uhm, I'm about to print Hannah's research paper and..

hannah torralba: macey!! ok lng saio kung magpaprint kme research? we will pay you kahit magkano and will refill you with bond paper. we are inkless. while i am printerless. ol we need is sum1 to print
macey mapanao: uhm. pila ka page?
macey mapanao: ilagay niyo ako sa acknowledgments niyo ha. yan bayad niyo.
hannah torralba: NO PROB!!
macey mapanao: ilang pages muna? haha
hannah torralba: hindi abot 30 but ilan maprint mo?
macey mapanao: basta less than 30
hannah torralba: ok.w8 lang
hannah torralba: macey! 29 macey mapanao: sige.
hannah torralba: TENX!!!!
hannah torralba: TENX!!!

..therefore I conclude that Pisay students would do anything to pass their research papers on time. At least there's one research paper that has my name on the acknowledgments. WOHOO!

Shizzzzzzz
So I'm back after a hectic week huh? Feels great to be back in business!

As I have said before, our defense was scheduled on Wednesday. But guess what? We ended up having our defense yesterday. To be honest, I wasn't really that nervous for the defense since I had my thoughts gathered up already but according to SM, it was just like having a consultation with your research adviser. And yeah, it was like a consultation. We first presented our powerpoint with some explanations and then Ma'am Daryl started to ask us some questions and we had to answer them in straight English. Hahaha then Ma'am Daryl started to make some suggestions on how to improve our paper. First was we had to synthesize two of our objectives into one and the other was to maybe uhm, change our method from Voronoi Diagram into the MCLP (it's Maximum Coverage Location Planning?) model, just like what SM's group used. So that means, more stuff to add in the RRL? Hahaha. But Ma'am Daryl told us that the due date of the revised proposal is 5 days after she returns our 1st draft. So far, she hasn't returned our first draft and I'm hoping that we'll have it around Thursday or Wednesday so our due date would be next, next week. That way, my concentration for the exams wouldn't be disrupted.

Did I mention that I was chosen as one of the assistant directors of our Ramayana play with SM? Hahaha. Thanks Angel! :D

Errr. Let's talk about what happened to me on Thursday.

I admit it's partially my fault and absolute stupidity. I left my cellphone (the Sony Ericsson P910) in the gazebo during PE time. Ma'am Pags allowed us to leave early so I did, not realizing I left my cellphone. So after a few hours of hanging around, I suddenly realized that my cellphone was lost during lunch time. Being the paranoid freak I am, I started panicking and I ran to the gazebo in the ABD where I left my cellphone during the last 10 minutes of our lunch break and started to search for it frantically. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it so I went back to the classroom and Sir Harold excused me for being late due to my frantic searching. During Math class, I started to bombard my lost cellphone with text messages to return the cellphone to me using my other phone. After Math was Socsci class and Ma'am Wing allowed me to search for my cellphone while they were having a review for the exam. I asked the guard if he saw my cellphone and he said that he didn't see anything and I also asked the help of Ma'am Debbie. Aside from that, I asked the canteen concessionaires and the students of Proton who were at the ABD but both said that they didn't see my cellphone. My last hope was the janitors but they went downtown to get their paychecks and they would return in about an hour. So while the janitors were gone and I was about to prepare for our defense, I asked Ma'am Debbie to ask the janitors just in case they come back. And yeah, I was crying since I was afraid that my dad would ground me for life if I lost that freaking cellphone. So while waiting for our defense, Nikki came to me and told me that they found my cellphone. I started to jump for joy and the guard came to me and brought me my cellphone. He told me that Sir Joel (the head of maintenance in school) found it. So, I went to Sir Joel and thanked him like crazy and he told me that he found it.. in one of the flower pots beside the gazebo where I left it. And guess what? My cellphone was switched off. Now whoever must have took it was smart enough to hide my cellphone in a flower pot then switch it off so that after classes, he/she could come and take it OR that person really wants to play a joke on my since he/she just hates me to death. Either way, I don't give a damn since all I care about if having my damn cellphone back. Even if I said that I would strangle the person who stole my cellphone to death in the middle of the quadrangle for everyone to see, I think I'd rather not know who did that to my cellphone since I might verbally or physically assault that person in public and make a fool out of myself. So, thank God that my darling cellphone was found. And, lesson learned: NEVER EVER LEAVE YOUR CELLPHONE UNATTENDED. I kinda got scolded by Ma'am Lani and Ma'am Mendoza but, yeah I deserved it real bad. Anyway, I'm just really glad that I have my cellphone back and I hope that whoever is that person who steals things (I'm still not over my 100 pesos!) would get karma-ed. Karma's a bitch, as they say in Gossip Girl (..did they? haha).

ATENEO WON! YAAAAAY! HAHAHAHA. *randomness*

Today was highly hectic for all of us. We had a quiz in Math, Physics and Statistics and a lab exam in Biology. Today is also the due date of one of our Chem lab reports. I'm not expecting a 1.00 this quarter in Math since I have too many mistakes to get a 1.00. Oh well, I guess I have to settle with a freaking 1.25 again even if people tell me it's more than good enough. Come on, I've been stuck with 1.25 for like I do not know how many quarters ever since 2nd year and I have never been close to a 1.00. Now, I'm really close. I computed my grades assuming values and my grade is 1.25. But then if Sir Harold added the 10 points bonus to the quizzes, my final grade would be 95.4%. I need like, 0.1% to make it into a 1.00 since 95.5% is counted as 96%. IT HURTS MAN. Darn, I didn't even get to answer the bonus item in the quiz correctly a while ago, and it was worth EIGHT POINTS. More than what I need. I had a total mental block a while ago, as I always have when we have a quiz in the first subject of the day. I just hope that Sir Harold gives us more bonuses or at least give us a bonus in the exam. Anyway, I better not keep my hopes high so that I won't end up sulking and eating the hurt away. Or I could try my best to make my exam in Math a 1.00 since I know my exercises and homework are 1.00.. WTF I BETTER NOT HOPE TOO MUCH. I don't want to sulk and eat the hurt away. *cringes*

Had a VEP a while ago. Had games, and such. Went to SM right after to do the groceries and went home. Now, I'm too darn tired.

----------

What the hell did I eat today..

Breakfast - beef and rice
Recess - apples
Lunch - beef and rice
Recess - none
At the mall - shawarma and melon mango shake
Dinner - plums

Diet much? HAHAHA

----------

TRAINING TOMORROW! And studying. Boohoo. But I'm so excited to train! HAHA.

Molarity and molality
I was supposed to blog last Saturday, Sunday and yesterday butttttt.. I found myself immersed in school work, stress and attempts in getting a good night's sleep. Then I realized that as long as I wanted to keep my grades up and keep my "social life" running smoothly, I had to give up the sleep. Darn.

I'll just summarize what happened to me while I was gone.

Saturday - I went to Fourplay to watch the tournament there. Hannah wasn't able to come since she was at the beach. All I remember was that Joey and Enzo won out of 3 games, Ate Renren and Ate Ruby won all games so they moved onto the semi-finals, and Topet and EJ won a game. Also, I ate lunch at Edong's with Ate Danica. After that, I went to SM to do the groceries with my dad. Then, home sweet home.

Sunday - Gah, this day was great. After church, we went to Victoria to get some stuff and I randomly found brightly colored pants in the tiangge that were in my size (soooo AMAZING!). I checked them out and woah, they cost PhP 300 ONLY. Even my dad was surprised. HAHA. So, my mom allowed me to get a pair and a matching top (worth PhP 250). Yeah, I got a good bargain so my mom allowed me to get another pair of pants when it's my birthday or on some other day.. Most probably my birthday if and only if I get cash. After Victoria, we went home. I slept then watched like, half of the Ateneo VS La Salle game then went to the laundry, then back home. YEAAAAAH ATENEO WON!!!!!

Monday - Found out that lack of sleep could make a person gain weight more and be more emotional rather then being rational. No wonder why I have those emotional fits. I tend to be really cranky when I'm tired or stressed out. And unfortunately, those moments bring out the bratinella in me. Anyway, we practiced for our defense and I got our powerpoint for the defense from JB. A bit of editing, and we're done. Now all we have to do is PRACTICE, which we will do later.

Now you're wondering why I'm blogging in school eh? Let's see.

We have nothing to do this Comsci period and I most likely have zero time for other things later at night so, I blog right now. Tonight, I plan to practice for our defense on my own, read and reread our proposal over and over again, and maybe start studying for the exam. Exams are next week and my grades are going down. Well, not all grades. I'm doing well in Math and I'm doing my best to make my grade 1.00 this quarter. But, I'm really really expecting that my grade in Statistics, Chemistry, Filipino and Research to go down. That's like, FIVE UNITS downward. Maybe I could maintain my Chem grade if I got a 1.00 in my exam and in my lab reports.. Or if I get a good grade in our bonus quiz in Stat.. Or if I get a good grade in the defense and final research proposal.. As for Filipino, I'm not expecting anything amazing.

I find English easier than Filipino, and I bet a lot of you people would most likely agree with me. I speak Taglish (NOT Tagalog.. it's a dead language to me.. haha) more often than English but I write in English better. And yeah, I find it easier to read in English. Believe it or not, I passed Filipino class back in 1st year and 2nd year without reading Noli and El Fili. I just read those Taglish summaries online and voila, I passed. Reading a page of Twilight or any English book would take me about, 2-3 minutes but it would take me 20 OR MORE minutes to read a single page of Noli or El Fili. I know, I'm Filipino, but I suck at the native tongue. Sorry, sorry. But, I'm not alone! Ha, ha, ha.

Okay, I accidentally corrupted my file that contained my quiz in Comsci. Good thing Sir got to check it already. Whew! *randomness*

Due to my busy schedule, I haven't been taking pictures with my dear cellphone. Well, I did take some pictures but I didn't have the energy to place them here somehow. Oh by the way, my cellphone died. How? I dropped it last Saturday. I always drop my cellphone but it still works. However, my luck ran out this time and when I place the battery back inside my phone, boom. It couldn't read my SIM card. It would function without the SIM card like I could use the camera but, a cellphone is not a cellphone without a SIM card. So, I'm stuck to using my dad's old Nokia 8890 (yeah that tiny silver phone) and my SE P910. Fortunately, I might get a new phone next month (just in time for my birthday!) since my Smart plan could give me a new phone 18 months after getting my current cellphone. I got my Nokia 6288 (the one that died) last April 4, 2007 so.. 18 months after is October. Perfect! I hope they give out a free phone that has a nice camera (meaning more than 2 megapix and the flash works well at night). I'm hoping that they give out those cellphones that have Cybershot cameras so that I don't need to beg for a digicam, even if I want one. Also, it is possible that Smart would give a laptop rather than a cellphone. Cool huh? But, my dad said that laptops are cheaper than cellphones nowadays so he allowed me to get a new cellphone (the free one, of course) and he'd get me a laptop most probably next year. As for the digicam? I really want a Canon DSLR since I'm considering photography as a hobby and I want to take pictures with all the light effects then post it on Deviantart. Dad said that he'll think about it but he told me it's more appropriate if I get a camera when I'm in college so that I could ask my ninong to teach me how to take good pics, since he teaches photography at some university. I just forgot where.. Gaaah, so much for wishful thinking. But of course, my top priority is the free cellphone. Then the laptop (FOR RESEARCH!). Then the camera.

I'm thinking about asking for the camera as my graduation gift.. Hmmmm.. I'll think about it really well before I start having regrets. But, I don't think I'd be having much regrets in getting a camera like a DSLR since just thinking about taking pictures in Manila makes me ecstatic.

Speaking of Manila, my mom asked me if I'd be having a week off during sembreak I MEAN ALTERNATIVE CLASSES since Cebu Pacific has a promo that sells tickets to Manila at a more affordable price. I'm hoping and praying that we'd be having a long break so that I could get my butt back to Manila and scour every single mall there. I already have an itinerary, haha! First off, I'd go to Megamall (MY LOVE!!!), Galleria, Shangrila, Rockwell, Glorietta, Gateway, Trinoma, Serendra, Market Market, Mall of Asia, Greenhills, and Greenbelt. Maybe I'd only buy stuff at Greenhills since I kinda mastered the art of haggling already and I know when it's cheaper to buy. Wtf I'm so excited but I'm not even sure if I'm going back home.

So, that's all I'm gonna rant for now. I don't know when I'm gonna blog next.. Boo.

----------

I think I'll post one pic.

Just look at what Pisay is doing to me. *points at eyebags*
I'll take it as a sign of honor. HAHA.

19 days to go before the big one six *ehemehemMY16THBIRTHDAYehemehem*.

I'm not excited. Believe me.

English imposed
When all the other school participated in the DACS, what happened today in our darling Pisay? Let's see. Nothing (nothing means the usual).

Today's a Monday so it means there's a flag ceremony, and flag ceremony means I have to get up early. Yeah I got up early, lazed around a bit and finally got myself moving. I got to school on time and my brain still wasn't functioning well. We had a quiz in Physics, and it was quite easy so to speak. Filipino is challenging, as usual since I find it hard to write in Filipino (how ironic). We did nothing in Comsci since Sir Ponch wasn't around. We had a lesson and exercise in Stat. We had another quiz in Chem, something in English and a little bit in Research.

Speaking of English, that new rule imposed about speaking English from 12:40-4:10 from Mondays thru Wednesdays is just, whack. I find it hard to blab and vent out in English, even if I find writing in English way easier. I'm just not that comfortable with speaking English all the time. And yes, the English speaking rule still applies during vacant periods. So, I better shut up now if I can't keep up. Ha, ha, ha.

After class, I was called to the ACR since I was chosen to represent my section for the smart talking thingy in the Communication Arts Fair. I was surprised that I was chosen since I usually talk about nonsense, and I'm just practically loud. The audition proper will be on Thursday.. So I still have time to prepare. Good, good. I need something to place in the yearbook!

After school is always my cranky time. I'm double the crankiness this time since I have a killer headache due to stress, the lack of sleep and the sudden change in weather. Oh yeah, it's the start of the -BER months already! Boohoo. I'm going on the big one six in a month and eleven days. Geez, I'm not even excited.

Oh well. That's all for today. I'm gonna sleep now. Night.

When life throws you donuts, don't eat it.
The sweet bliss of the sugar rush will get to you.
Then it will devour you alive.

Just a random thought. Nothing to share today, sorry.

Why I was gone
The last time I blogged was Saturday. Ironically speaking, weekends are allotted for resting and NOT for doing this and that. Unfortunately, the weekend was hectic. Okay, let's make it the long weekend. I'll just summarized what the freaking hell happened to me when I was gone.

Sunday:

Went to the beach since my mom asked my dad and I to come with her. It was some picnic in some cancer support group that my mom joined (to those who are curious, my mom just finished chemo last january. stage 2C ovarian cancer. she's okay now, fortunately). After that, I went to SM to buy my copy of Breaking Dawn. Then we went home and I forgot what I did next. Hahahaha.

Monday:

FUN FUN FUN! Double the fun actually. I played badminton in the morning with Darlene, Hannah, Jp, Ate Danica, Joey and Robien. Some kid named Iggy Boy (WHO IS EFFING CUTE BTW. RIGHT HANNAH?!?! hahaha) celebrated his 3rd birthday so everyone brought food. My part was to bring adobo and I'm glad they said it tasted good. Dar's mom even threatened me that she won't let me play with them if the adobo didn't taste good (hahaha just for laughs). Lmaaaao. But anyway, I ate quite a lot and I ended up playing with a full stomach. It felt, weird. And after playing, I went to GMall to meet Mariel and JB so that we could do our RRL. So we did our RRL and it was productive, honestly. At least we got somewhere. When they were about to leave the house, Mariel bugged me to go to the mall with them so that we could find references since most of our references were books. But actually, Mariel really wanted to buy a copy of New Moon. See? The Twilight fever has spread like an epidemic. Anyway, I went home after that. By the way, we saw Ma'am Wing and Ma'am Nolasco somewhere near the overpass. Hahahaha. Then I went home, sweet home and finished the RRL like a mad pig. So to Mariel, welcome to the coven! TEAM JACOB PWNS.

Tuesday:

Okay that's today. We gave Ma'am Mendoza her birthday card and some stuff, had a quiz in Math and Bio, passed the RRL (1.00 in time yo!), had a meeting in the SG and I read more Breaking Dawn. I'm currently in Chapter 8 or 9. Hahaha. After that, I got down at Kopi Roti and headed to Victoria to photocopy something.

Okay. That photocopy trip pissed the freaking hell out of me. I first went to Penhaus since it was in the first floor and I was too lazy to walk to Philcopy. So I went there and asked the dude in charge if I could have some pages in my book photocopied. And the dude said, "Books aren't allowed to be photocopied since the machine's lid couldn't close." Aside from the stupidly lame excuse, he was arrogant and rude. I was about to verbally assault him but I changed my mind since I was wearing my school uniform. So instead, I bitched around a bit, turned around and rolled my eyes and I called him an asshole.

The next part was kinda, annoying too. I went to Philcopy and yeah they were close but there were people inside. So I went in and asked if I could have a few pages photocopied. The saleslady said they were closed so I pleaded since I was highly desperate. Then the saleslady turned into an ultimate bitch machine when she asked me how many pages and she was like, "walang labis walang kulang?" in a super mega annoyingly bitchy tone. But yeah, she was nice enough to let me photocopy since it was just around 3 pages.

So to the bitchy saleslady, thanks for allowing me to have my book photocopied. To the dude at Penhaus, I WISH YOU LOSE YOUR JOB YOU F***ING JACKA**!

It sucks that people piss you off when you're already pissed off and tired. Gah, daaaarn.

Time for homework. I'll write something more substantial when I have something great to share.

FREEDOM!
I AM FINALLY BACK AFTER 969768475857958728978276 YEARS! HAHA. Okay, I've only been gone for almost a week.

It's good to back! Finally I get to blog again. The past days have been filled with excitement, stress, pressure, boredom, happiness, sadness, whatever emotion there is. Generally, the exams wasn't as, let's say, scary as I thought it would be.

Biology - NOSEBLEED. I guess that could sum it all up. But, I passed! 2.00!

Filipino - Similar to the summative quiz, it's just that there's an essay. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be.

PEH - I'm sure my exam grade in PE will not be higher that 1.50 since my group got a 2.00 in the practical exam. I don't have a knack for kickball, okay? Hahaha. It's fun but I'm really not meant for sports that involves balls like, kickball, basketball, volleyball, and the like. Health was easy. Thank you Sir Mancao!

Math - I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE MATH EXAM. I was expecting that there was proving of the theorem (WHICH I REALLY HATE) but THERE WASN'T. Actually, Sir Harold told me that he mentioned that the provihg part wasn't included in the exams. Okaaaay so I just forgot. =))

Physics - I'M READY TO FAIL. *hands down* The questions would have been easy if I listened to the class discussion. Hahaha. It would have been EASIER if I was gifted in Physics, which I obviously am not. I hope that I pass, but I'm sure that my grade would be less than 38/50. Seriously. =))

English - It was time consuming since we had to write this and that but generally, it was okay. :)

Comsci - I'm sure that I have around, 10 mistakes or more. Harhar.

Research - BLOODY ESSAY. Hahaha. I even had a debate with Ma'am Mendoza regarding the meaning of the sentence if the word 'on' was replaced with 'of'. There is a difference actually and Ma'am Tenchavez pointed it out to me when I asked her something. Anyway, it was okay. It just made my hand hurt after all the writing.

Statistics - I'm glad I got to concentrate well during Statistics (was it because SOMEONE wasn't there? yeah, yeah. that IS the reason!). Sir Joms even taught us how to compute for the standard deviation for ungrouped data using our calculators. WOHOO. The exam was relatively easy. Statistics is waaaaaay easier than Applied Math.

Socsci - I didn't get to study well, seriously. But it wasn't as hard as I expected it to be.

Chemistry - LAST EXAM. I'm sure with most of my answers. Hope I get a good score!

Now the exams are over, I could read Twilight (I FINALLY HAVE A COPY AFTER WAITING FOR LIKE, 2 MONTHS?!) for as long as I want to. Also, I now know the "exam style" of our teachers. Oh yeaaah. I finally have my Bio grade. I got 1.50. I was expecting my grade to be like, 1.75. My quizzes were 1.25, lab reports were 1.00 (thanks for the bonuses for passing on time), lab quizzes were 1.75, exam was 2.00 and my assignment was 2.50. I can't really blame Ma'am Tenchavez for giving me a 2.50 in class participation because I often sleep in her class. Mental note to self: NEVER EVER SLEEP IN BIO CLASS. EVER.

I'm also going to share about what happened last Friday. We had the cooking contest in school for nutrition month. I'm glad to say that we won 3rd place! Yaaaay! We cooked spicy beef, Kamameshi rice, chopsuey, four seasons fruit shake (purely fruit and ice but it tasted like heaven!) and the tropical fruit parfait with chiffon cake. Lithium won 2nd place and Proton won 1st place. At least we won something. Hehehe. Maybe what made us win was the table set up since we had Hello Kitty stuffed toys there. And the Hello Kitty toys were in Japanese costume (you know those ones that they gave when you bought Happy Meals? those ones. haha).

Gaaah it feels sooooooo nice not having to worry about school related things right now (except for Research). My carpoolmates and I decided to eat at Kopi Roti as a "celebration" now that the exams are over. Btw, it's Kopi Roti's 1st anniversary so they have this promo where you have to make 'bunot' a piece of paper and then you have a price! It's either you get a free dental check up (since the owner of Kopi Roti has a dental clinic in the 2nd floor of the building), a tumbler (which Edel got. lucky, lucky you) and 2 small boxes of Colgate. I got the Colgate! Finally I have toothpaste that I could use in school. I recently ran out of toothpaste. Hahaha. Also, we wrote a lot of stuff in their guestbook and Chino even wrote stuff like, "XOXO Gossip Girl" and the address was Upper East Side, Manhattan. I even wrote my address as Forks, Washington under some name I forgot. I think I wrote Isabella Swan or Edward Cullen? Lol. I forgot. I even wrote, "VISIT MY BLOG! http://hydroxide-mash.blogspot.com/ - macey". Hahaha. So much for die hard advertising.

But the coolest part? Back in June, my carpoolmates and I stopped by there and we wrote our name as "Carpool ni Manong Nick" and the address was Pisay SMC. We scanned through the guest book again and we saw beside that entry we placed last month was, "Hi Pisay! - Illumina '06". Cool huh? Some Illumina people saw it! HAHAHA. Ambot oi. I'm just soooo surprised! :) Ohyeah. The milk toast in Kopi Roti is just DIVINE. The toast just melts in your mouth along with the butter and condensed milk. It's just that your throat might hurt if you eat too much. Plus, you're gonna get fat if you eat a lot of that. Imagine a thick piece of toast melting in

warm butter and condensed milk. Imagine all the lipids and carbs in that. One small bite is enough, really. Hahaha.

Speaking of Twilight, I'm not that 'kilig' with what I'm reading now. Maybe it's because I'm still in the part where Edward and Bella are in some meadow and stuff. Chapter 13, to be exact. Seriously, I think I'm really late in reading Twilight. Breaking Dawn is coming out next week and I'm still halfway through the 1st book. I'M SUCH A LOSERRR. Hahaha. I'm getting my copy of New Moon and Eclipse already tomorrow, and I already asked the lady in NBS in SM to reserve a copy of each for me. And I'm still going to ask my parents if it's okay with them if I also reserve my copy of Breaking Dawn tomorrow. I'm really taking what my mom said with conviction: "Spend your money on books instead, not on a digicam!". Anyway, back to me reading Twilight. Edward scares me, but at the same time I find him really sweet. Bella always gets 'dazed' by Edward. All she thinks is that Edward is like a god or something when they're together. I really hope that Midnight Sun comes out soon. Edward's point of view would be really fun to read since he's trying to stop himself from killing Bella. XD

More random pics? Sure. :) I'm lazy to put captions. Sorry.

I recently discovered this band in Pops In Seoul. It's name is Ibadi. Their lead vocalist is Horan of Clazziquai, btw. Anyway, their music is Norah Jones-y in Korean. They did a good cover of Tom's Diner in their live concert but I still don't know how they managed to make a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit with their genre of music. Anyway, here's their song, "Never Ending Story".

Before I forget, we're finally done with our Speech Choir in English. We got a 24/25! Same score was Lithium. Calcium got a perfect score, and I admit I was amazed by their performance. It was really well prepared for. :) I also found it cool that one of the canteen concessioners, "Ate Gwaps" as we call her (we call her that since she's pretty. hehe) was reciting the poem. Maybe she memorzied the lines from constantly hearing us reciting it aloud or maybe she learned it back when she was in high school or something. Whatever the reason why she knows it, I just found it cool that she recited the poem when she passed by us. And she recited it with feeling okay?! HAHA. XD

I'm glad to say I'm done with my own revision of my Chapter 1 in Research. All I have to do is wait for Mariel to go online, which I am doing right now. We'll just put all our ideas together tomorrow and we could finally print it. Good thing Mariel has a laptop and printer in the dorm. :)

That's all for today. I'm gonna go read Twilight now!
