I AM FINALLY BACK AFTER 969768475857958728978276 YEARS! HAHA. Okay, I've only been gone for almost a week.
It's good to back! Finally I get to blog again. The past days have been filled with excitement, stress, pressure, boredom, happiness, sadness, whatever emotion there is. Generally, the exams wasn't as, let's say, scary as I thought it would be.
Biology - NOSEBLEED. I guess that could sum it all up. But, I passed! 2.00!
Filipino - Similar to the summative quiz, it's just that there's an essay. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be.
PEH - I'm sure my exam grade in PE will not be higher that 1.50 since my group got a 2.00 in the practical exam. I don't have a knack for kickball, okay? Hahaha. It's fun but I'm really not meant for sports that involves balls like, kickball, basketball, volleyball, and the like. Health was easy. Thank you Sir Mancao!
Math - I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE MATH EXAM. I was expecting that there was proving of the theorem (WHICH I REALLY HATE) but THERE WASN'T. Actually, Sir Harold told me that he mentioned that the provihg part wasn't included in the exams. Okaaaay so I just forgot. =))
Physics - I'M READY TO FAIL. *hands down* The questions would have been easy if I listened to the class discussion. Hahaha. It would have been EASIER if I was gifted in Physics, which I obviously am not. I hope that I pass, but I'm sure that my grade would be less than 38/50. Seriously. =))
English - It was time consuming since we had to write this and that but generally, it was okay. :)
Comsci - I'm sure that I have around, 10 mistakes or more. Harhar.
Research - BLOODY ESSAY. Hahaha. I even had a debate with Ma'am Mendoza regarding the meaning of the sentence if the word 'on' was replaced with 'of'. There is a difference actually and Ma'am Tenchavez pointed it out to me when I asked her something. Anyway, it was okay. It just made my hand hurt after all the writing.
Statistics - I'm glad I got to concentrate well during Statistics (was it because SOMEONE wasn't there? yeah, yeah. that IS the reason!). Sir Joms even taught us how to compute for the standard deviation for ungrouped data using our calculators. WOHOO. The exam was relatively easy. Statistics is waaaaaay easier than Applied Math.
Socsci - I didn't get to study well, seriously. But it wasn't as hard as I expected it to be.
Chemistry - LAST EXAM. I'm sure with most of my answers. Hope I get a good score!
Now the exams are over, I could read Twilight (I FINALLY HAVE A COPY AFTER WAITING FOR LIKE, 2 MONTHS?!) for as long as I want to. Also, I now know the "exam style" of our teachers. Oh yeaaah. I finally have my Bio grade. I got 1.50. I was expecting my grade to be like, 1.75. My quizzes were 1.25, lab reports were 1.00 (thanks for the bonuses for passing on time), lab quizzes were 1.75, exam was 2.00 and my assignment was 2.50. I can't really blame Ma'am Tenchavez for giving me a 2.50 in class participation because I often sleep in her class. Mental note to self: NEVER EVER SLEEP IN BIO CLASS. EVER.
I'm also going to share about what happened last Friday. We had the cooking contest in school for nutrition month. I'm glad to say that we won 3rd place! Yaaaay! We cooked spicy beef, Kamameshi rice, chopsuey, four seasons fruit shake (purely fruit and ice but it tasted like heaven!) and the tropical fruit parfait with chiffon cake. Lithium won 2nd place and Proton won 1st place. At least we won something. Hehehe. Maybe what made us win was the table set up since we had Hello Kitty stuffed toys there. And the Hello Kitty toys were in Japanese costume (you know those ones that they gave when you bought Happy Meals? those ones. haha).
Gaaah it feels sooooooo nice not having to worry about school related things right now (except for Research). My carpoolmates and I decided to eat at Kopi Roti as a "celebration" now that the exams are over. Btw, it's Kopi Roti's 1st anniversary so they have this promo where you have to make 'bunot' a piece of paper and then you have a price! It's either you get a free dental check up (since the owner of Kopi Roti has a dental clinic in the 2nd floor of the building), a tumbler (which Edel got. lucky, lucky you) and 2 small boxes of Colgate. I got the Colgate! Finally I have toothpaste that I could use in school. I recently ran out of toothpaste. Hahaha. Also, we wrote a lot of stuff in their guestbook and Chino even wrote stuff like, "XOXO Gossip Girl" and the address was Upper East Side, Manhattan. I even wrote my address as Forks, Washington under some name I forgot. I think I wrote Isabella Swan or Edward Cullen? Lol. I forgot. I even wrote, "VISIT MY BLOG! http://hydroxide-mash.blogspot.com/ - macey". Hahaha. So much for die hard advertising.
But the coolest part? Back in June, my carpoolmates and I stopped by there and we wrote our name as "Carpool ni Manong Nick" and the address was Pisay SMC. We scanned through the guest book again and we saw beside that entry we placed last month was, "Hi Pisay! - Illumina '06". Cool huh? Some Illumina people saw it! HAHAHA. Ambot oi. I'm just soooo surprised! :) Ohyeah. The milk toast in Kopi Roti is just DIVINE. The toast just melts in your mouth along with the butter and condensed milk. It's just that your throat might hurt if you eat too much. Plus, you're gonna get fat if you eat a lot of that. Imagine a thick piece of toast melting in
warm butter and condensed milk. Imagine all the lipids and carbs in that. One small bite is enough, really. Hahaha.

Speaking of Twilight, I'm not that 'kilig' with what I'm reading now. Maybe it's because I'm still in the part where Edward and Bella are in some meadow and stuff. Chapter 13, to be exact. Seriously, I think I'm really late in reading Twilight. Breaking Dawn is coming out next week and I'm still halfway through the 1st book. I'M SUCH A LOSERRR. Hahaha. I'm getting my copy of New Moon and Eclipse already tomorrow, and I already asked the lady in NBS in SM to reserve a copy of each for me. And I'm still going to ask my parents if it's okay with them if I also reserve my copy of Breaking Dawn tomorrow. I'm really taking what my mom said with conviction: "Spend your money on books instead, not on a digicam!". Anyway, back to me reading Twilight. Edward scares me, but at the same time I find him really sweet. Bella always gets 'dazed' by Edward. All she thinks is that Edward is like a god or something when they're together. I really hope that Midnight Sun comes out soon. Edward's point of view would be really fun to read since he's trying to stop himself from killing Bella. XD

More random pics? Sure. :) I'm lazy to put captions. Sorry.

I recently discovered this band in Pops In Seoul. It's name is Ibadi. Their lead vocalist is Horan of Clazziquai, btw. Anyway, their music is Norah Jones-y in Korean. They did a good cover of Tom's Diner in their live concert but I still don't know how they managed to make a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit with their genre of music. Anyway, here's their song, "Never Ending Story".

Before I forget, we're finally done with our Speech Choir in English. We got a 24/25! Same score was Lithium. Calcium got a perfect score, and I admit I was amazed by their performance. It was really well prepared for. :) I also found it cool that one of the canteen concessioners, "Ate Gwaps" as we call her (we call her that since she's pretty. hehe) was reciting the poem. Maybe she memorzied the lines from constantly hearing us reciting it aloud or maybe she learned it back when she was in high school or something. Whatever the reason why she knows it, I just found it cool that she recited the poem when she passed by us. And she recited it with feeling okay?! HAHA. XD

I'm glad to say I'm done with my own revision of my Chapter 1 in Research. All I have to do is wait for Mariel to go online, which I am doing right now. We'll just put all our ideas together tomorrow and we could finally print it. Good thing Mariel has a laptop and printer in the dorm. :)
That's all for today. I'm gonna go read Twilight now!
