No day but today
Whew.

I think I woke up quite early today compared to the last few days. I got to school at around 7:10, absolutely unprepared. I only scanned my Bio book, not read and understand it to be perfectly honest. Bio was the first subject and I could feel my brain telling me to drift into a light slumber, since I slept late last night reading New Moon. Thank God I was able to fight my sleepiness. We also had a quiz, and I think I'll flunk that one the same way I did in the first pretest. Anyway, I'm expecting it anyway so I won't feel bad and crap. Filipino was next and, we had this thing with essays. Quite easy. Then we had a lab activity in Physics. I didn't pay much attention since I was too engrossed in finishing New Moon. HAHAHA. No wonder why Winona doesn't want to read the Twilight Series. It's because it's addicting, according to what she observed (observe me and you'll agree with Winona, I sweaaar). It is addicting, simple as that. Anyway, we had Socsci next and I got a freaking 83/100 in the exam. One more point to get a 1.50! Daaarn. I just hate it when my grades are "hanging" on the borderline. It could be an advantage, or not. It's an advantage because a point can change your whole grade. It's not an advantage because you'd be pissed when you find out your grade's hanging. Oh well, life is unfair. Boohoo. Then Chem was up next. I really enjoyed the exercise because the Ion-Electron method of balancing redox reactions is easier than the oxidation number method. It's longer and more time consuming, but getting the right answer has bigger chances. Ma'am Gigi also suggested some good books to me when she found me reading New Moon like a drug addict. She told me to read books by Eric Seagal (did I spell the name right?) since his books were the "in thing" during her time as a high school student in Pisay. I'll go check out the books when I have time. After Chem was lunch and I ate Arroz ala Cubana without eggs and bananas, but with ketchup. After lunch we had Math and we had a new lesson, which was quite easy to understand. We also got to compute our grades and I got a 1.25. I was hoping that I'd get a 1.00 but I didn't since I was like a drunk pimp when I answered one quiz in Math. Anyway, 1.25's okay for me. At least it's good for a 1st quarter grade compared to what I had during the 1st and 2nd year. 2.25 in Math 1, 2.00 in Math 2 and 1.75 in Math 3. See? I could just pull up my grades anyway. After Math was English, and I remember that we had to make an essay based on the picture of the African kid that we saw and we need references. Now, where to find references. I don't know where. Daaarn.

After English was the IQ test. It was okay, and I guessed around 5 items only. Then the meeting about our internship. Ma'am Mendoza informed us to submit 3 possible companies where we could intern. I was thinking of Avon or Nestle in Manila but my parents told me it was better if I had my internship here. So I was thinking of applying in Philippine Eagle but it was too far from our house. So my dad suggested that I'd intern in BMeg (the plant where they make the pig feeds), and my mom suggested that I'd intern in RDL since she's aware of my inclination towards cosmetics. But I was thinking of applying somewhere that a friend would be there, to make things fun. However, we're only to give 3 possible places where we could intern but the teachers will assign us where. Whatever, I'll take my chances. L O L.

After classes, I was really glad that I got to catch up with Gilleanne on what was up with each others' lives. I kept on blabbing on how much I adore Jacob Black and Gilleanne told me what was up with, you know. I'm really glad for her. It feels nice talking to a friend who you haven't been communicating with for quite a long time. So when you find time to talk to each other again, there's so much to talk about. I missed Gill

I got down at Assumption (again) and bought dinner at McDonalds since no one cooked dinner at home. It's been quite a long time since my system digested fast food, so I don't know what will happen to me tomorrow. I love burgers and all but sometimes, I don't want to eat burgers. It feels absolutely weird. So I just ate a chicken sandwich, fries and now I'm drinking Nesvita to "neutralize" all the junk I took in today. I'm still not losing weight so, I guess I won't keep my hopes high.

WARNING: THIS MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS, to some.

I AM FINALLY DONE WITH NEW MOON. Now I shall embark on my journey in reading Eclipse. Hahahaha. A lot of people told me that Eclipse was the best book so far, but I read in Angel's blog that Breaking Dawn was the best for her. All I know is that Eclipse was way more exciting than New Moon since New Moon focuses on Bella's depression because Edward's gone and everything then Jacob makes her happy then Jacob and Bella fight in the end of the book. Whatever may happen, I still like Jacob more since he's more, real. Edward's skin is described as ice cold and his chest is described like stone or marble. I remember getting tummy aches when I lie on my stomach in the marble floors we had back in our home in Manila (I'm feeling nostalgic. I miss that big old bungalow..). So I don't think hugging a vampire with ice cold skin will make me feel cozy. Sorry Edward fans.

I also found out that the Twilight books here are cheap because they reprint the books here, most likely in Manila. It's like the official publishers of the books give rights to printing companies here to reprint the books. No wonder why the books are only, 300+ pesos. Maybe that answers why some of the Paulo Coelho books I have are only around, 150-200 pesos? It's just, surprising. It's a good thing anyway since the books are affordable. But, why is Harry Potter 7 still PhP 1450?! I'll only buy it when it's PhP899, like my HP6 book. Hahaha I'm being frugal, yo!

It feels weird not having assignments. It always feel weird, actually. I'm thinking of watching Hangeul Island right now. But no, I'll set Wonbin aside first for Jacob Black. HAHAHA. Fictional characters are fun to crush on because it's you who creates the way he looks, according to what you like. I imagine Jacob with short hair, even if he has long hair in the movie (can't they just alter the hair and make it short? seriouslyyyyyyyy). I imagine Edward, looking like Robert Pattinson. I couldn't think of any face for Edward eh. I knew it was Cedric Diggory who's gonna be a vampire!

From a Quidditch playing wizard, to a blood thirsty vampire. What an evolution.

So right now, I'm gonna start reading Eclipse. And I'll find a way to get hold of National's number so I could call them and get my copy of Breaking Dawn, FAST!

No pics first. I don't want to lag your computers. XD

Did you get to read Aldrin's GM? The one where he chatted with Amiel.
Hahaha. No need to speculate. It's not that obvious, really.
*highly sarcastic* lmao.

Cloud 9
MONDAY NANAMAAAAAN. Well, everything started out pretty normal. During homeroom time, we discussed on who's gonna join the cooking contest thing on Friday. And I rewrote my Chem lab report. Anyway, we all know I love to cook right? So I volunteered to join. Since there were 7 of us who wanted to join and we only needed 5, there was a votation and unfortunately, I wasn't chosen (coz I'm such a loser. haha). Of course I felt bad but eventually I realized that it was just fair that we would have a votation according to Edsel's democratic rule. Hahaha. After that was Physics. The quiz was really easy. Then after that was Comsci where we had to make 3 more exercises. One is by pair and the two others are individual. Daaaaarn. I intend to do the exercises tomorrow since it's double period and if I don't finish the individual exercises, I guess I'll just do it over the week. What's important is that Angel and I finish the pair exercise. After that was Statistics. The lesson isn't as hard and we got to finish all topics for the first quarter. Yay! Then after that was Filipino. Ma'am Ines made us recite our compositions in front. Luckily, I wasn't called yet and I don't want to be called since my topic is super boring. Even I don't like the topic I used for my composition. The reason why I stuck to that topic was because when we were made to write an example of a body of a composition using the Pamaraang Paangulo, the rising of the price of gas and fares was all I could think of. Before I knew it, that was our final topic. So no matter how boring and lame that topic was, I'm glad I got to stick to it and I got to write something acceptable. Not really good but, acceptable. Hahaha. After that was Lunch. I ate something spicy. Hehehe. After that was Chem and we had more Stoichiometry. Akala ko naman na tuturuan na kami tungkol sa oxidation kaso hindi pa pala. Waaaah. Anyway, bukas ang quiz. Then after that was English. We had an acitivity in English regarding coherence. So, Ma'am Annie gave us sentences and she made us arrange it and it must be COHERENT. Hahaha. Also, she shared to us how crazy the English language is thru a portion of an article that she found online. Ma'am actually gave me her copy. Thanks Ma'am Annie! Ok. Here it is.

Let's face it - English is a crazy language.
There is no egg in eggplant
or ham in hamburger;
neither apple nor pine in pineapple.
English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France.
Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.
We take English for granted.
But if we explore its paradoxes,
we find out that quicksand can work slowly,
boxing rings are square,
and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea, nor is it a pig.
And why is it that writers write,
but fingers don't fing,
grocers don't groce,
and hammers don't ham?
If the plural of tooth is teeth,
why isn't the plural of booth beeth?
Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend?
If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them,
what do you call it?
If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed
to an asylum for the verbally insane.
In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
But it is evident that English was invented by people, not computers,
and it reflects the creativity of the human race (which, of course, isn't a race at all).
That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible,
but when the lights are out, they are invisible.
And when you want to shut down your computer you have to hit start.

I never really thought of that before. Hahaha. And good news! We are going to recite Like The Molave next week which means I have about a week to memorize the whole thing. Yaaaay! Anyway after English was Research. We passed our drafts and Ma'am Daryl told us that whatever she taught to us aside from what we have in our notes will be in the exam. So that means APA style in writing is included as well as the guidelines in making the 1st chapter. Okaaay. I'll prepare myself for anything. HAHAHA.

After Research, I went camwhoring with Czam, Nikki and Gilleanne and Gio was our photographer. Hehehe.

After camwhoring, I went to the Comlab to email the powerpoint presentations that I needed in Comsci and do some research. After that, I went outside to the carpool. I got dropped off at Assumption since my dad was going to fetch me in HGS. From there, I went to GMall to buy stuff in NBS and I took a taxi home. I had milk and Skyflakes for dinner and now I'm torn between sleeping early or watching Hangeul Island on Youtube since we don't have any assignments. My mom told me to start studying but I told her that whatever I study stays longer in mind if I cram. It's true for most of us eh, whether you believe it or not.

And I still cannot believe that I wrote this entry in ALMOST pure English. It is waaaaay easier to express things in Filipino especially when you're pissed off. The words in the native tongue really has this like, "zest" to the words so that word can really describe what you're trying to convey. For example the word, 'hinayupak'. It is used to describe people who act like animals. Just by listening to the word makes me cringe in disgust. Hahaha.

Anywaaay. I'll just post some random pics. Para hindi sayang yung inupload ko sa photobucket. *wide smile*

OMG OMG OMG. The Eraserheads are having a reunion concert!!!! Unfortunately, you have to be 18 and above to enter. Anna told me you even have to scan your ID to prove that you're 18. And Marlboro is the sponsor. Okaaaay no wonder. But this is good news especially to die hard Eheads fans. I'm not a die hard fan, but I love their music. I even remember having a nightmare what I watched their music video of Maskara. I think I was only 8 years old then. Hahaha. Anyway, I hope this concert will be a success and there will be more reunion concerts in the future. DITO NAMAN SA DAVAO BEH. =))

So that's basically it for today. Hope your day was good too.
