Finally done with the Chem lab report.. And waiting for dad to come back from the airport.

Today has been a mix of good luck and bad luck for me. I almost got late for school (along with Earv, Alron and Chris), but I got there on time for the Bio lab activity. We had a urinalysis and uhm, it was funny. Marvin "donated" his urine for our experiment and that meant he would clean the test tubes, since it's his pee. Anyway, we were supposed to test if Marvin's pee had hippuric acid crystals, glucose, albumin and bile. After experimenting, Marvin's pee only had a small amount of glucose which meant he's perfectly healthy. AND YES. Ma'am Tenchavez told us that the +5 in lab reports will only be given if EVERYONE IN THE CLASS passes on the due date. It worked for us back in 2nd year, so I hope it works this time. But that policy would be implemented next quarter.. Hahaha.

Filipino is still a struggle for me as ever. I ended up eating during class and yep, my teacher saw me and I think it's gonna pull my class participation grade down. My grades in Filipino right now have been going down the drain, and same goes to most of my classmates. Hopefully, Ma'am Ines would lower the number of items in the quizzes so I still have hopes in maintaining my grade.. I'm expecting that my Research grade will crash like a plane in a corn field.

HAH! Physics was double period so we had an exercise and a bit of discussion. After being spoon fed by Sir Noel for the nth time, I get the answers correctly now. As a matter of fact, I'm getting the hang of it already and all I need to do is to list down all the formulas I need and all the conditions. I just wish that Sir Noel will cut down the items on that 35 point quiz since I got 20/35 (which is one point from passing..) because I didn't have enough time to finish the quiz. Grar, Physics. Hahaha.

Chem made my light up a bit. COMPUTATIONS ARE BACK! And not much concepts anymore. Well, there still are concepts and stuff to explain but computations are back on the road. I asked Ma'am Gigi if she'd give us bonus exercises and quizzes, and I forgot what she said. BUT, I hope she does.

Math never fails to amuse me, as long as it doesn't involve proving stuff using theorems and the like. I thought that proving in Trigonometry was like proving in Geometry but proving in Trigo is kinda like, proving algebraically, which I highly prefer. I haven't done my math homework so.. I'll do it later.

SPEAKING OF MATH. I found out a while ago that I am a candidate for the Math proficiency award in graduation but I was already eliminated because of my stinking 1.75 in Geometry last year. My grade in Math 1 was 1.5, 1.75 in Geom and 1.25 in Algebra. The grades must not go lower than 1.50 so that I could qualify. I know it hurts that I got eliminated BUT, I can't blame myself either. I suck at Geometry, especially the proving bit. I still have hope in Chemistry, Biology, Socsci and English! I STILL DO! I wish.

Anyway, English class was next and we had a quiz on what happened in the story, Tribal Scars. The story was a bit dragging at the start but it began to spark some interest in me when it came near the ending. It was a very good story and the reason for having tribal scars was very realistic. I know some tribes in Africa have tribal scars since they have this ritual for a boy's coming of age where the boy's sisters ask the other older guys to whip them thus causing scars. But in the story, the tribal scars were created so as the Africans wouldn't be captured for slavery (since the Whites rejected the Africans with blemishes on their body). Cool huh? Also, Ma'am Annie showed to the class our drawings on the main highlight of the story. Some were colorful, some were morbid. Aside from that, we were made to write in our learning log on what we would dare to do once we graduate from Pisay. I said that I'd get more ear piercings and I'd get a tattoo, most probably.

I also got to talk to Ma'am Annie about the Ramayana thing. Well, I'm volunteering myself to be the director and Angel wants to help out so, maybe we could be the DIRECTORS. Hahaha someone to share the fun and stress with. Anyway, Angel and I were planning on having a batch meeting concerning this so that we could assign committees for the props, costume, lights, music and dance, etc. Also, we are planning to hold the auditions for the parts in the play. I'm still gonna research on who are the characters in the story. I hope that we have enough batchmates who are willing to act and all. HAHAHA I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE PLAY!

After school, went to SM, bought something at NBS, took a taxi home, did my Chem lab report, took a bath, ate dinner, and now my dad just gave me my dry fit shirt that he bought for me in Manila. YESSSS! Another dry fit shirt! I already have one from Nike, and this new one's from Adidas. Cool, cool. Next up: YONEX! If I have extra cash..

Speaking of cash, I know everyone's heard of the bankruptcy of the Lehman Brothers in the USA. Well, one bank that's affected is BDO and uhm, I keep my savings there. I admit that I kinda have a big amount of savings there so I'm so scared of losing my cash. So, my mom told me that we're gonna get all my cash and we're gonna move it to BPI. Great, so when are we gonna do it? Hopefully, TOMORROW. Or as soon as possible.

What did I eat today..

Breakfast - Penne
Recess - Apples
Lunch - Adobo with rice and Gatorade
Recess - An apple and cookies
At the mall - a brownie
Dinner - Penne

Shoot. I ate too much. That's the bad effect when our maid forgets to pack some water in my lunch bag. Water, is, a, MUST.
