Just a stranger in the bus
Finally got home from a looooong day in school.

I'm glad to announce to the whole wide world that my dear groupmates and I managed to cram our full research proposal in less than an hour. Hopefully by now Ma'am Daryl's reading our paper.. Hahaha. Now that's over, I could finally have some sleep since I'm over with my Math homework. I guess this sums up my day today, eh?

Oh wait. There's more.

During English class, Ma'am Annie told us that the WHOLE BATCH will present the Indian epic, 'Ramayana' in the 2nd Card Giving Day. I was quite skeptical why 90 people would be involved if the only characters are.. Rama.. Sita.. and the monkey. But Ma'am Annie pointed out that we need a big crew. A big crew means lots of people to make the costumes, props, setting, everything on stage. Angel told me that she wanted to direct the play and I said that I wanted to be in charge of the costumes and make-up (hahaha I usually do the make up on my batchmates that present dances in school.. that includes the guys!). It would be really cool to do the make up on the characters of Ramayana since I get to play with black eyeliner a lot, and I get to be creative and stuff. I plan to try out those make up tricks I see in high fashion magazines. Also, Ma'am Annie said that the guy who will play Rama MUST be dark skinned. So dark skinned male Juniors, get ready!

Also, we had this activity in which we wrote our names in a piece of paper then we'd pass the paper around. Then, people would write what they think of you. Here are some of the comments I got often..
and yes, the ever perpetual..
  • FAT.
I'm really cool with the fact that people tell me I'm fat (like duh, I've heard it for more than a million times already!). But there are those days when I'm kinda emo then I kinda take things into my chest. Today's one of my semi-emo days due to the lack of sleep. Maybe I could catch up on my sleep tonight. Alleluia.

I bet more than half of the motherland watched the Pinoy Dream Academy finals night yesterday huh? If you did, did your ears bleed when Laarni sang? Sorry Laarni fans.. Her singing just ticks me off. I'm just one person who doesn't like her singing. So, don't mind me. Anyway.

I WAS TOTALLY ROOTING FOR BUGOY TO WIN BUT THEN, okay. Laarni won. Come on. Bugoy isn't the most handsome dude around but hey, he sings so damn fine and he dances so damn good he deserves to win yo! Laarni screams when she sings. And why oh why did Liezel not reach the top 3?

Hahaha my parents told me something on how Miguel got loads of text votes. I don't watch PDA at all but my parents do so I'm pretty updated. Anyway, to those who know how Miguel got those text votes, it's just lame. To some it might be 'desperate times call for desperate measures', but to me it's just being hands down PATHETIC, if what happened was really true.

Did I mention that people were already yelling 'Miguel' when they were about to announce the 3rd placer? Hahaha. Miguel's good looking and all.. He's got the talent.. But he doesn't have the charisma. For me. Hahaha I'm so biased.

So whatever results came out much to your dismay or the other way around, everything happens for a reason. I'm keeping my big mouth shut now. *zips mouth*

BUGOY'S GONNA BE MORE FAMOUS THAN ANY OF THEM, most likely. I'm placing my bet on that.

----------

I've been backtracking to the '90's during the weekend. I found myself listening to Joan Osborne's song 'One of Us' over, and over, and over again. I first heard this song when Marie Digby made a cover of it in her Youtube and I listened to it.. The song was already familiar to me so I searched for the video on Youtube and I found it. I saw a lot of comments saying that the song was blasphemous and all but, I don't think it isn't. Maybe it was the choice of words that made it sound blasphemous. Specifically this line..

What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us?

God wasn't really being called a slob. The line was pointing out that, what if some person in the real world who's a slob was just God in disguise? Or what if that homeless man in the street was just God observing the way man lives? Or, what if he was that friend that you've just met? Or maybe he's just the guy whom you sat next to in the jeep.

God created us in His own image, as stated in the book of Genesis. Therefore, God is in each and every one of us. I guess that points it all out.

What the hell did I take in my tummy today..

Breakfast - crab stick omelette with rice
Recess - a brownie and apples
Lunch - fish with rice
Merienda - juice, kwek kwek and penoy
Dinner - ham sandwiches and a slice of papaya

Errr okay. Better cut down during merienda and dinner. MUST. WORK. OUT.

----------

If God had a name, what would it be and
Would you call it to His face?

I don't know. You answer it for me!
